I am back from Melbourne, Australia

#1. If you ask for cream in a coffee shop you get liquid whipping cream.
#2. If you stand at the register staring at the cashier waiting for your 1 cent in change you will get a weird look and asked if everything is ok.

I few to Melbourne on the Boeing Airbus A380 which I have never been on before. This is a big plane! Larger than the 747. It is a double decker and has the capacity to hold over 800 passengers though on this flight it was complete with 1st and premium economy class on the top level which holds over 550. I fly all the time so it’s interesting to be on a new plane I’ve never been on before. The flight over was pretty smooth until half way through the course where there were some mild bumps. Whenever I fly over the Pacific it is much smoother than flying over the Atlantic. The Atlantic is always quite rough. This was a night flight at 11:20 therefore I slept most of the flight as I was dead tired. It was a 16 hour flight from LA to Melbourne and we were stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to leaving the gate. The captain said they couldn’t shut one of the top level doors to the plane, um…. yikes! Not really something you want to hear before taking off! I arrived over an hour late into Melbourne and as usual I was questioned extensively in immigration… pretty much interrogated! This happens to me every time I fly to Canada, UK and Australia. I must fit a “profile”. After immigration I was met with another fellow who gave me a 20 question test that was pretty aggressive. then, of course, I was stopped in customs and sent to the bad girl section where they dug through all my stuff and drug tested absolutely everything in my possession. I take it I look like a drug addict? The customs agent rummaged through all my latex which I bag in big zip lock baggies so it doesn’t hit oxygen (oxygen deteriorates latex). He assumed I was bringing the latex over to resale and was questioning me about that! I had to explain why latex is stored in bags. Then he questioned why I travel with it. I’m like… because I wear rubber! I was stuck in the customs hall for at least 45 minutes to an hour. So annoying. After 16 hours on a plane it’s rather annoying to be interrogated for an additional hour by morons. I had a visa for entry but I am assuming this type of search is meant for drugs. I overheard the customs agent next to us tell the couple he was searching that there was cocaine found on their luggage… I’m not sure what happened to them! So after 2 hours inside the terminal I was the LAST person to leave out of hundreds and hundreds of passengers! I finally roll myself and my suitcase out to find my friend Wayne from Warped-Photography waiting for me in the lounge. I was kinda stressed but so relieved to see him and to finally be set free! So I left Wednesday night and arrived Friday morning. Once we got to Wayne’s friend’s house we just chilled throughout the day and ordered Indian take away. It was a very relaxing evening. Great fun catching up with Wayne =). I went to bed quite early and woke up around 4 or 5 in the morning and had to force myself to fall back asleep. Spank was Saturday night and there is no way I would be fit for an all night event if I woke up at 4 am! Eventually the sun slowly crept up through the trees outside my window and I heard the pitter patter of footsteps outside my door. Once I was up we took a drive up into the mountains of Dandenong National Park where there was a bird sanctuary and beautiful forests where we went on a bit of a trek. It was absolutely stunning. I was having moments of relaxation but then a nagging voice in the back of my head kept reminding me about Spank! that night. The day of an event I have a very hard time relaxing as my brain is just too darn busy thinking about my show! Once back to the house I got ready with my full makeup for the night. We needed to be at the venue by 3 PM to do a run through of my show and would not be able to return to the house so I had to get ready for the night! Spank! was held at Martini Lounge, a very posh and impressive club in Melbourne. I met drop dead gorgeous Kitty who was my “slave” for my show. She was an absolute delight. I couldn’t have asked for a better woman to be apart of my show. I brought my new white leather bondage gear and practiced binding her up. I chose the tight leather armbinder, collar, and gag. Kitty had never been in bondage before which excited me to no end. She looked so goddam hot with her elbows bound and mouth stuffed! Soon after rehearsal we ran over to Kitty’s house which was amazing inside! How I wish I had time to do a shoot for my site inside her house! Just the shiny chrome front door alone would have made for a great backdrop. Kitty made us a wonderful organic dinner and I met some friends of hers who came in all dressed in doctor’s & nurses garb (the theme of the event). All I can say is Australian’s are mighty fine! Reminds me of all the hotties in Florida. In Los Angeles the fetish scene is mixed more with the goth scene so it’s fun to see a different type of crowd like in Melbourne. Toned and tanned blondes & brunettes with killer bods. We had to be at the event at 9 and the doors opened at 10. I slid on my red and white latex nurse uniform, double checked my show gear and off we went. At the venue there was only 1 dressing room that was teeny tiny. I couldn’t get into that room until right before my show around 2am. So I had 5 hours without a dressing room. Normally I have a place I can run in and out of in case I need a breather, need to freshen up, do a costume change, get ready in time for my show, etc. Not having a room was slightly stressful. The way I do it is once I am at the event I will be back stage or in the dressing room until the venue opens then will mingle and run around and take breathers in between. At this event I was out in the event the whole time & couldn’t do any costume changes unless I changed in the busy bathroom or on the club floor. So I had to adapt quickly. I ran around taking photos with Wayne as he had a photobooth. It was so much fun checking out all the kinky rubber costumes and taking photos with everyone. I had many rubber sissies on my lap getting a spanking from Mistress Marilyn. After some hours of running around and mingling with all the sexy party goers Axel West went on stage with his debut performance of Sperm Man. His show was very entertaining. Like I mentioned on my formspring page, I am not used to full frontal nudity in a male show so I was certainly entertained! ;-) I was supposed to go on right after Axel but I was locked out of the dressing room! I waited and waited… I finally was able to get in there around 2 but I was supposed to be on at 1:30. I was trying my bet to get ready fast but nipple tassle glue only dries so fast! Finally Kitty and I were dressed and ready to go! I put Kitty in the wheel chair and my music started and off we went. This show started off as a traditional burlesque number but quickly turned into a sadistic bondage theme. The show ended with Kitty bound and gagged on stage forced to worship my legs and heels. Ah, at last.. I could relax the rest of the night! As soon as I was off stage I ran around the club in my pasties, stockings and Marylin lingerie set as Wayne shot me all around the club. We took advantage of the dungeon equipment and I had everyone submitting to me in front of Wayne’s lens. The club closed at 5 but around 4am Wayne and I decided to head out. It was a fantastic party and  met so many cool and sexy people. Everyone was so darn friendly! Before we left I had the wonderful chance to meet a model named Jazz whom I was to shoot with on Monday during a photography workshop. She was in a beautiful Anatomic Bomb striped latex dress and looked stunning. She knows her latex and is a fellow scorpio. Suffice to say, we hit it off instantly. As Wayne and I drove home I crashed out in the front seat barely able to keep my eyes open for more than a few seconds.

Sunday was a day off. I didn’t pack this trip full of shoots as I decided to take it easy. I was staying quite far out of Melbourne and without a car so I spent Sunday relaxing. One thing to note about me is I need espresso in the morning. Normally I brew my own espresso while at home or hit up a Starbucks. Now, at Starbucks you can mix cream or milk into your coffee yourself at the the little bar. I always get a straw (so I don’t stain my teeth over my braces) and I mix in half and half cream or milk into my epsresso to cool it down or sometimes mix it with a side of ice. Now, in Australia I was having a hard time as at the cafes you can’t mix in milk yourself and I was getting weird looks when asking for a straw with my espresso. Also, when you ask for cream… it’s not the type of cream you’d put in your coffee instead you get whipping cream. And… when you buy something at the grocery store, in this case a bottle of San Pelegrino, and expect your 1 cent in change you are going to get a weird look at the cashier and asked if everything is ok. I soon found out that in Australia they don’t have pennies. So if something is $2.99 it is really $3. I had no idea it was like this! I thought it was so odd that I wasn’t getting my 1 cent back! Oh to be naive. So, I wonder if I paid with a credit card if it would be $2.99 or $3?

Monday was the photography workshop day held in a very nice photo studio. I shot with Matt Allan and Wayne from Warped Photography during the day and the workshop began in the evening. After I did a few great sets with Matt and Wayne, Jazz showed up with her amazing latex wardrobe. We played dress up the rest of the afternoon. I got Jazz into a hot pink dress during a set we shot with Wayne and get my lips wrapped around her heels in no time. My dress is from The Latex Store.

at 6 PM the fetish photography workshop began. There were 10 photographers split into 2 groups of 5. One group shot me first while the other group shot Jazz then we switched. The lat hour Jazz and I posed together as the photogaphers took turns shooting us. It was Jazz’s first time doing a double girl shoot but it surely didn’t seem like it at all. Our movements flowed together nicely. I got her into all sorts of sexy poses in her beautiful Atsuko Kudo latex attire. The workshop lasted 3 hours and was so much fun! I’m such an exhibitionist and enjoy romping around in rubber in front of a group of photographers. Kinky!

Tuesday was my day to fly back home. Yes, this was really a quickie in and out trip to Australia. I was only actually in Australia for 4 days with 2 travel days. I left at 10:20 AM May 18th from Melbourne and arrived at 7:20 AM May 18th in LA. I went back in time.

I am planning another trip to Australia before the end of the year. I’d like to go over when it’s warm there so it will be this coming autumn or winter. Email me about booking me for a shoot or session.

    Hey gorgeous!!
Thank you for coming all the way over for a Spank party plus Warped Photography’s workshops – I’m so sorry if the changing room wasn’t what you’re used to : (
I admit to not being experienced at looking after international performers and I hope your experience at Spank was fun despite the rough edges… I guess with hindsight that I should have asked you what sort of set-up you normally have, what you would like etc. But you were a pleasure to work with as usual, so thank you for your patience with a relative newbie-promoter, and thank you for your presence at our party!
All the very best & hugs,
    Helen xx
