I love being busy. I enjoy that feeling of complete exhaustion where I just fall asleep right as I hit my pillow. That is what my last 9 days have been like! My friend and photographer from Seattle, Steve Keene, came down and stayed in my high heel room for the last week. We literally shot every single day except for the day off we had at Disneyland – where Steve LOST his wallet but luckily found it at lost and found! The day after I picked him up at LAX we set out to Palm Springs and did 2 full days of shooting. It was a lot of fun but so hot outside! It was an intense summer heat wave and it hit over 115 degrees! The following days we shot at my house and studio then over the weekend we hit up the MoonEyes car show at the Irwindale Speedway. I wore a cute pink rubber number by Maggie Delena and boy did it cause quite a stir. I dragged Steve around and we shot with all the great hot rods. Wow, that is one hell of a car show! It was a hot day though and I was literally melting away dripping with sweat. I caught a bit of sun and am still a little pink but it was well worth it!

Steve and I were at the car show for a good 2 hours until I just couldn’t take the heat any longer + I had a shoot scheduled with Mary Jane at my house at 1.

I am working on a brand new project with her and am shooting content for it currently – well, actually Steve shot the photos this day and I did the video. I’m teaching Steve how to tune into the fetishes that are being showcased per set. He comes from a fashion background and I am an adult fetish content machine – 2 different animals

The last 2 days I have been working on a new site with the launch of a new career venture I am taking. I am hoping to have it finished in the next few days. It’s a lot of work as the last time I built a site the technology was so different! I’m having to teach myself as I go all over again, sigh. Hey emily. I see you were shooting with my good friend Jorge JMV Photo at Moon Eyes. Jorge Rules he is a big mush. On a different note I just wanted to say that I have been a fan of yours for some time now. You and I actually met at a Blockabilly event like 4 or 5 years ago in Orange. You were wearing an amazing Latex dress and you had on a tiny little hat tilted to the side. I am very happy to see that you are still a red head with a great smile and awesome personality. Also just wondering if you were ever planning on coming to the east coast (NYC). If so I would love to be your tour guide and show you around in exchange for some pics being that I am a photographer and all. Thought maybe could take some racy photos of you on the brooklyn bridge or something… Maybe something latex’ish? With all that you do, have you ever tried–because I imagine you’ve certainly thought of it–doing something like a “Dear Abby” column or blog or even video’s–for not only us in the “fetish” community…but as much if not more so, of those on it’s “fringe” and thinking of experiencing it in some “safely distant” manner?!
Call it: “Dear Emily”! The comparison would be obvious! Seriously!
After all, who, if anyone, knows more about, or been involved any longer or more thoroughly, and appreciates it and is part of every aspect of “fetish” than YOU are?!? And who is also one of the premiere models, representatives, and “spokespersons” for what it is and represent WORLD WIDE any more than YOU are?!?
Who better to discuss topics of/about/within it?!?
For instance, say, anything from:
Bondage in all it’s aspects–from the types of knots and ropes used, to it’s feeling to be the subject, or the “enforcer”!
Fetish Fashion: It’s sensuality. It’s materials. It’s now amazing evolution and more acceptance into the “mainstream” of “vanilla” society. And of course–the magnificent sensuality and sex appeal of SHOES and BOOTS!! That one you OWN, Girlfriend!
Transvestism / Crossdressing: The appeal it has for most women in the Fetish scene and there appreciation and enjoyment of it…be it from a “Dom”/sub dynamic, to sex appeal, to simply having Trans friends and the pleasure it brings having the “best of both worlds” in one person! Also it’s evolution, historic appeal, and both the difficulties of those how “indulge” as well as it’s FUN!
And THESE are just AFEW subjects that pop into mind right off the bat! Emily…I think you’d be BRILLIANT at expressing yourself and being, shall we say, an “Icon” sharing viewpoints with all who ask!
No doubt, you’d get OODLES of letters…as well as just, say: “Emily’s Outlook on a Lazy Afternoon”! If you did it as a video feed or blog–you’d get an audience to both see you in whatever you’d be wearing…setting a standard Lady GaGa can only DREAM of equaling…as well as what you’d have to say! It’d RULE!
As would you, if you gave it a try! Hey, I’m just sayin! Just putting it out there for you to consider. Your audience already exist–you don’t even have to knock yourself out to cultivate them. And it would only grow in popularity…especially with the occasional “guest panelists”! Sounds like a success ALREADY!
Oh, and should ya try it, and might be interested in the usual “sidekick” for such a venture! I MIGHT be available! LOL!
